JOB’S DAUGHTERS BETHEL 65 NEW BLOOMFIELD

Job’s Daughters? What’s that?

Job’s Daughters is a leadership organization and we are located right here in New Bloomfield. Membership is available to all young women between ages of 10 and 20 years who are related to a member of the Masonic Fraternity. Also a pre-membership “Jobie to Bee” program is available for girls ages 7 to 9 years.

Bethel 65 meetings are held twice a month on the first and third Mondays at 7PM at the New Bloomfield Masonic Hall.

If you like to have FUN consider joining us!!! Friendship, Self-confidence, FUN, Organizational skills, Responsibility, FUN, New experiences, to just name a few…did we mention FUN?

In addition to fun…..Members learn important life skills. They learn leadership by holding various offices in Job’s Daughters; how to be part of a team, democratic principles through the election of their own officers, deciding and planning events. They learn responsible citizenship through community service activities and charity projects. We actively support the Hearing Impaired Kids Endowment (H.I.K.E.) Fund, which purchases hearing assistive devices for hearing impaired children. Job’s Daughters members can qualify for various scholarships that are offered state-wide and on a national level.

In short, Job’s Daughters offers the qualities that today’s young women want and need from organizations that earn their commitment. If you are interested in learning more about how you, your daughter, granddaughter, niece or family member can become a part of Job’s Daughters Bethel 65, contact Jayne Wills, Bethel Guardian at 573-491-3556.

New Bloomfield Historical Society NEW BLOOMFIELD

On May 8, 2006, the Society became official by the adoption of bylaws and election of officers.  Our goal is quite simple and to the point. We want to purchase land and erect a building for the purpose of displaying historical memorabilia depicting the great history and people of the New Bloomfield area.  The NBACA newsletter will contain up to date information about the project.
